Regular maintenance is crucial to providing the maximum age of the machine. As the working conditions for road and mining machinery are severe due to exposure to dust, mud and water, it is required for its normal performance that the engine gets dust-free air and refined oil; the fuel should also contain no water. Only under these conditions will your machine show its top performance.
Oil Filter A lot of repair parts and components in the engine need lubrication. If the oil gets contaminated by dust, mud, or water, this results in an increased wear of these units. An oil filter removes dust and moisture, which makes it possible to maintain engine performance and extend engine life.
Air Cleaner | As the intake air system ingests air with dust particles, this may lead to serious wear of the cylinders and piston rings which will result in lack of power and black exhaust smoke. At the same time, it will increase oil consumption. In order to extend engine life and maintain its performance it is necessary to use only genuine air cleaners. |
Fuel Filter | Fuel supply pump and injectors are units that operate under high pressure; if mud or dust contaminates the fuel system, it may result in a breakdown of the fuel pump and injector sticking. A fuel filter removes mud and dust from the fuel thereby maintaining engine performance and also extending engine life. |
Corrosion Resistor Accumulation of mud in the cooling system decreases the flow of the cooling water which lowers the cooling effect. In extreme cases, it may even block the water line. A corrosion resistor acts to suspend magnesium and calcium particles that may be present in the cooling water.
